    Cyril,
Just want to say a very big “Thank You” for all those pictures that you keep giving us access to…wish I was there this Christmas as planned but the brothers didn’t send the $$$ in time…LOL!!!
This year is impossible due to trips to Hawaii in a couple of months and my group trip to East Africa in the Fall2011.
I’m taking about 20 people to Egypt, Kenya, Tanzania and Zanzibar…Wish you can join us.

    Angela

ALL THE BEST for the NEW YEAR and God Bless.

    Cyril,
Happy New Year, we lost a lot of important Guyanese last year….Rawle Farley and Donald Locke come to mind.
This would have been a good issue to honor their memories.
By the way, I always remember you as the first person who introduced me to listening to jazz.
Are you still a big jazz fan?
    Best,

    Anne Doris

      Thank you Anne.
      Hello Anne:
Yes, like every year we lose the great ones among us… some old , some middle age and even the young ones who were achieving their greatness.
It is difficult for us to name all of those who have departed this sphere of their existence, so instead of being partial we do not carry death announcements. However we may carry articles on the works of persons who is no longer are with us…. and laud their contributions to Guyana and the Diaspora, if they live overseas.

Yes, Anne, I am still a jazz fan… will always be, especially the jazz of old.

Have a successful, healthy and happy New Year 2011.
      Cheers!
      Cy
