If there is a problem in Guyana which we should worry about, besides the economic problem or the problem of government administration or hunger or lack of jobs, it would be to find young people that can strengthen this nation. In fact, our crisis is not simply economic, political or administrative; it is primarily moral. And our youths are not receiving proper guidance in order to grow up as authentic persons. There is a lack of appropriate objective teachings for the development of the human character.
Do you want to have a nation that is weak and very poor? No! We would prefer to have our beloved Guyana stronger and more prosperous. Unfortunately, many Guyanese still believe they can continue to engage in immoral and base love and still enjoy increasing prosperity. However this is a misleading understanding.
We believe that the family institution is the basic unit of our society and nation. We condemn the decline of moral values in the Western world which currently threatens the sanctity of marriage. We resolve to reverse this decline and promise to defend the ideal of God centered families with a new vision of marriage for this 21st century

In order to lead you must first know the destination. Otherwise, you will not even be able to lead himself. The destination must be well defined and clear. Also, the direction to reach this goal should be well understood. Even with a clear destination, if you do not know the way, there is no possibility of reaching it.

After the proclamation of Guyana as a Cooperative Republic, a common destiny was established by our nation as displayed in our motto: One people, one nation, one destiny. God has given our nation 40 years to realize this. That time has already passed and therefore a prolongation period of yet two more 40 years becomes necessary in order for Guyana to accomplish its goal. This second period of 40 years to come will have the tendency to be more difficult than the first and will call for greater determination and administrative strategy of the elected president during his mandate to maintain a peaceful atmosphere in Guyana. Not to mention the necessity of continued prayers from the cristianity community.
