Ramjattan cautions govt…“Stop dilly-dallying with Linden”

The Alliance for Change (AFC) wants the government to stop “dilly-dallying” on issues that would lead to a resolution of the unrest in Linden.
The party’s leader Khemraj Ramjattan maintains that the issues which the Lindeners are agitating about are reasonable demands that could be met.
The government is insisting that “normalcy” be returned to the town.
“I don’t know what normalcy he (the President) is talking about. Has he defined that?” Ramjattan asked yesterday, responding to the suggestion coming from officials of President Donald Ramotar’s office.
Lindeners say they will persist with their protest until their demands are met, and as far as Ramjattan is concerned, the government is being stubborn and wants to drag out a resolution of the issue. Ramjhattan should relax and let the government do its job. He appears as if he is going mad. He is just spewing hatred. He appears hell bent on trying to make the country unmanageable for this govt. The poor guy shoud take a sabbatical.
Whom the Gods wish to destroy, they first make you Mad. There is no sane Politician in the world of Politics anymore. The greed and Gluttony for wealth that does not belong to them has created all the problems everywhere in this global family. The Christian Book of Prayer says simply”Thou shalt no steal” This the Politicians are not willing to forego and therefore we are living in and are building SINFUL empires everywhere in this world. No one is politically correct and the same is true of the Church and its leaders. They have failed to convince their Political Wards to do the correct thing and so jump high and jump low Buxton and Linden will never change in this century. Ramjattan and co are helpless and the President is governed by the political system he helped to create. God Help us all.
I think the sun is affecting the folks involved here, wish they could experience some real cold weather we have here in Canada. Cooler heads should prevail.
Guyanese (some) should learn that they ” can’t have their cake and eat it too” Why should the Gov’t. allow the citizens of Linden to have FREE electricity when everyone else is paying for it? Why would the so-called good citizens of Linden BURN a School, an institution of learning for their own kids?
We are not dealing here with ordinary folks, no wonder you all are having so much trouble. Why Is Georgetown so filthy and full of garbage now called the Garbage City instead of the ” Garden City”?
People of Guyana is time to grow up and start living. There is no such thing as a “free lunch”.
