National Population and Housing Census progressing well
The National Population and Housing Census, has been running for just over 2 weeks now and according to the Deputy Census Officer, Vanessa Profitt, said, that the exercise is progressing well.
She, however, made an appeal for citizens to cooperate with enumerators after one of the persons collecting information was confronted by a ferocious animal.
One of the families counted recently was that of Opposition Leader, David Granger, who encouraged citizens to ensure they are counted. Granger said, the information gathered will be very useful to help in the planning of the development of Guyana.
