    Nostalgia indeed…

    Memories rekindled….

    “Please Mr don’t touch me tommatto”
    “touch me aloo pumpkin potato”
    “but please Mr don’t touch me tommatto”

    With all the innuendo it brings a smile to my face….
    Calipsonians must have been influenced/inspired by these songs
    later…..

    Guyana must be longing for a theatre to share this culture with its
    next generations/visitors/peoples……these memories are priceless…must
    be preserved/shared.

    Memories are made of this…thanks for the trip down memory lane…

    Delightful!
    What a priceless collection of Guyanese folk songsm some of which I’ve never heard.
    It would have been great if we could have accessed the lyrics along with this video.
    Thanks do much for sharing this. For me it’s a keeper.
