Why Barbados ! Trade fairs are international events ….not tourists attractions…
get serious ….Barbados is obviously the tourist destination of the carribean
hence the decision to hold it there….but if brand Guyana is to have any
serious market penetration surely it should be a Guyana venue for exhibition.

I visit a RUM fest yearly event in EARLS COURT London and sample
Rums from all over the world.Guyana s rums are represented for tasting…
After an hour of rum tasting and almost legless I usually find a favourite…
last year it was ZACAPA from mountains of Guatamala where conditions are
perfect for growing the sugar cane to make the rum.
Imagine my shock to see the Zacapa brand in Gatwick malaga airport
On show duty free at 69 Euros a litre bottle….that’s marketing my friends.

Get the right product and market it internationally and enjoy the fame…

I say “Go Guyana” – “Go Invest!!” – This is my idea of progress and treating Guyana and the Caribbean islands as one economy. We are on the right track, plant yourself in a high traffic area and show them what we got …. Way to Go Guyana Expo 2013 !! Wishing You All The Best of Success!!

    Wishing you All Success.
However I do agree with Kamptan…Location, Location, Location!
If it’s being held on the grounds of the Guyana Consulate, then invitations must have been sent out to all the embassies, consulates in Barbados, correct?

In today’s climate…..We must think local and act global….our world a global village…less nationalism more INTERNATIONALISM.

Came across this interesting article that might be of economic interest to Guyana. Not only is Guyana part of Latin America but we have the advantage of speaking English.

Why US baby boomers are retiring in Latin America

    Gigi
Its simple why retirees choose Latin america to spend most of their time
    RETARED…RETIRED….
    £ = 3175.98 Columbian pesos…..
My state pension in UK puts me in the bottom poor
But at £150 week or £7800 per annum
Do the arithmetic….if I lived in Columbia after my retirement……
Which class I become….RICH or POOR…..upper rich or lower poor
    economically speaking.

Enjoy the prognosis….envy by Columbians ! Despised even hated !

    For being British or American.

    Politricks my friend
