Published on Jan 21, 2013 – by James Herring.

Ice-induced pavement pile-up’s, out of control vehicles, winter fail wipeouts and the usual death defiers.  Nobody was hurt in the making of this video apart from the people who were hurt.

Now here is another video that shows how serious winter road accidents can be…

Make Guyana more attractive to retirees, especially ex-pats, & you’ve got it made…

    How ?
This old fart does not wish to retire to Jonestown or Georgetown
but would “squat” on no mans land in the Amazon jungle where it
is much safer even with the danger of being eaten….living with
the original “uncivilised” inhabitants of amazonia.
UN has declared borders in dispute “demilitarised zone”
Land reformation one of the issues to be addressed sooner than later.
Use it or loose it….with local governments deciding on its use age.
    My spin entirely.

Today there are more Brazilian maroons living the Guyana jungles who
are not run away slaves….more economic migrants…a natural process
that will expand with time….but one that should be monitored to
avoid the destruction of Guyana’s pristine rain Forrest….not by military
    intervention but by economic/political incentives/encouragement.
USA was created by immigrants EURO is today supportive of economic
migrants as it expands its borders/membership…why can’t Latin america
    follow/lead.
More questions than answers ? am sure !
