The danger of a single story – Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie
Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie: The danger of a single story
Our lives, our cultures, are composed of many overlapping stories. Novelist Chimamanda Adichie tells the story of how she found her authentic cultural voice — and warns that if we hear only a single story about another person or country, we risk a critical misunderstanding. About Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie
Eloquent expression by an African woman….her struggle our struggle….!
Enjoyed every word of “her” story…more please.
Nigeria is a “Muslim” country where women are deemed inferior to their
male counterparts…discriminated because of their gender.
Hopefully women like Chimamanda will influence the liberation of its
female population…sooner the better…Wonderful story !
