In Iraq, the United States and Iran Align Against the Islamic State
Summary: Since June, a great deal of international focus has been on Iraq, where the transnational jihadist movement Islamic State took over large swaths of the country’s Sunni-majority areas and declared the re-establishment of the caliphate. Despite the global attention on the country, especially given U.S. military operations against the Islamic State, U.S.-Iranian cooperation against the jihadist group — a significant dynamic — has gone largely unnoticed.
A convergence of interests, particularly concerning the Iraqi central and Kurdish regional governments, has made it necessary for Washington and Tehran to at least coordinate their actions. However, mistrust and domestic opposition will continue hampering this cooperation.

The Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia is calling Islamic State the Number One enemy of Islam. Their actions have nothing to do with the values of Islam, he asserts. The call is out for rebranding this group as “al-Qaeda Separatists in Iraq and Syria,” or the acronym “QSIS”

IS/ISIS/ISIL is a product of US, Saudi Arabia and Israel, among other silent players. That is, this group was trained and funded by these countries to do their dirty deeds. This so-called threat is all smoke and mirrors for now. But it will only be a matter of time before IS/ISIS/ISIL turn the tables on their creators, just like the Taliban/Al-Qaeda did. The group that the US created to defeat Russia when it invaded Afghanistan. The only things America exports now are wars and the weapons to fight in these wars, so it has to keep creating and instigating these wars – both abroad and at home. Until the world collectively makes it stop.
It would seem that America was deliberately set up to do the dirty deeds of a misguided “utopian” civilization. To act as the world mafia, mercenary, butcher and executioner so these “utopian” societies don’t tarnish and sully their perceived pious and gentrified character. But some are coming to the realization that they no longer want to be associated with this monstrosity they’ve created, while others are realizing that they are no different and are happy to identify with it. America and its cheerleaders are heading for an ugly end.
