This day as I saw the Guyanese people gathered for this Historical Inauguration, I am proud to be Guyanese again. No politics in my heart, just love for Guyana and all its lovely and diverse people. These pictures were very impressive, and showed a people with hope and ambition, and a desire to overcome the divisions of the past. They stood there with a pride and belief in Guyana’s new leaders, and I hope for Guyana and its people’s sake that the promise of a new beginning is realized. I am not a believer, but I am inspired to say with utter conviction God bless Guyana and “all its people” you all have made me proud of my country.
