This a dangerous slippery road. You have to be careful of these investigations that they are not witch hunts, designed to go after political targets for political reasons. If an investigation is necessary, then it must be conducted openly and without prejudice and as such should be done by an impartial, independent and trustworthy body. Otherwise it becomes farcical and establish a precedent for incoming governments to target outgoing governments.
