Mideast issues could be a bit confusing. If I have it right Putin could be riding a time bomb. From my memory Russia and its bordering neighbors are largely Sunnis? Maybe one-third of the population. Iranians should be the other ethnic group…..Shia Muslims. Is Putin siding with Shias, and posibly bombing Sunnis.

I recently read an article on a credible news source which reported that the reason America instigated conflict in Eritrea was to displace and influence young Eritrean males to immigrate to the US. Of all the sick, ugly and dirty reasons that are used to justify wars this is the worst. It should come as no surprise to hear that the largest Eritrean population is in DC.
