Soon…China practiced policy of one child per parent….India as many as they wished for. In 10 years at 15m py that doubles the increase of China….
8m in decade 80m increase C
15m in decade 150m increase I
393+80=473m
267+150=417m
15 to 20 years voilà.
Sorry should have explained in two decades….hey that 20 years from now….

India also has a problem with population growth…….large excess of males due to manipulation with female fetus/birth…forgot the details.
Culture and politics is stagnating India economically…….It is a large market of China. ………China on the other hand is is projected to surpass even the US economically in the years ahead.
