When We All Work Together – The Naqaqa Family Farm, Fiji

Published on Oct 29, 2015

Beauty, song and the Garden of Eden in this second film in the series from Vanua Levu — a very magical and musical short about Setareki the farmer and his family at the Naqaqa farm, near Nandala Bay and at the foot of Mt. Serenitoba on the island of Vanua Levu, Fiji. (Naqaqa is pronounced Nanganga.) They grow Taro, Casava, and vegetables — and they sing. Like angels.

Prepare to be amazed, inspired, and humbled by Setareki Tulagi and his family as they sing for us from the Naqaqa farm, near Nandala Bay and at the foot of Mt. Serenitoba on the island of Vanua Levu, Fiji. Setareki and his family grow Taro, Casava, and vegetables on their farm while they sing like angels. When we all work together how happy we’ll all be. Family is important and you should love each other is the ending message that is conveyed in this beautiful video.

Fiji is one of the tiny islands in the South Pacific threatened by rising sea levels due to climate change.

A loverly family, beautiful songs and faith in their religion. I hope that there are contingency plans in place to help the people of the island should it be adversely affected by the ocean due to climate changes which is happening as a direct result of developed countries refusing to put in place processes to control emissions. I wish them all the best.
