Guyana’s sugar production just 8,800 tons away from 2015 production target. The estates should meet and surpass the target of some 227,000 tons before the crop ends later this month. GAWU strikes have affected production recently or the target would have been reached earlier.
Pomeroon-Supernaam Outreach at Anna Regina chaired by Prime Minister Nagamootoo. Agriculture and Local Government will be featured.
Transforming and remodelling the Guyana Police Force with greater focus on recruitment, training and equipment for officers. Most of all salary increases for ranks and officers.
Education: Focus on Teachers – better pay for teachers in the future and better working environments as schools are upgraded. All have to be on board including unions and parents.
Calgary University helping the Georgetown Hospital GPHC – children’s ward -with the latest diagnostic equipment for heart ailments. Equipment and training was donated by the University.
