Please see below information for planned activities for May 2016 to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Guyana’s Independence:
– The Guyana Consul General’s office will be having a church service on May 22, 2016 at The St. Michael Cathedral (next to Central Bank) from 11:00a.m.
– Also May 22, 2016 the Guyanese Association of Barbados Inc. have arranged a luncheon at the Brown Sugar Restaurant from 1:00p.m. To participate you need to call Brown Sugar Restaurant and make reservations under G.A.B.I. The cost is $69.00 per person for adults and Children under age 10 is $30.00.
– Also on May 29, 2016 we will be hosting our 50th Jubilee Taste of Guyana celebrations from 1-9p.m. at the Plantation Theater St. Lawrence Main Road, Christ Church (please see attached flyer for more details). There will be two door prizes of return tickets compliments of Caribbean Airline.
