    From Kamptan to Guyanese Online

    My comment
If the scots wish to exit UK so be it…
If the Irish wish to exit UK so be it…
Southern Irish already use euro as legal tender…will scots and Irish do same ..doubt
    it…will keep pound£
Brexit was a vote to put “Brits” first !
    Nationalistic vote…so be it.
Let Brits rule Brits…not some unelected bureaucrat in Brussels….

How this all plays out is “unsettling” for
    all concerned.
However think Scots will not join euro
neither will north Ireland…. both continue
    using £ as legal tender…internally/externally.
UK opted out of joining Euro which was wise
move….EU made the mistake of creating
economic unity without a political one.
Cart before horse….suspect they will try
    to reverse that after Brexit.
The Greek crisis of how vulnerable that plays out….you cannot fix your own interest rate
to adjust for inflation etc etc
    Autonomy removed.

UK has recovered (eventually) because of the austerity measures introduced by George Osbourne (he was rightfully
Sacked) by May …. no one can “buck” the
free market in principle or practice.
The market will ..like water ..find its own level. LIBOR fixing a recent example.
Internal banking rate fixing scandal of
conspiracy by Barclays CEO Bob diamond.

    To end this epitaph
Support the idea of free movement of goods
services and peoples in principle …but with
    rigid regulation.
OZ got that right…only accept economic
migrants to fill skill shortages internally.

Will have to write another book now….
Have finished Hookers (legal/illegal prostitution) awaiting publishers.
Have started my biography (my legacy for children after exit) entry to exit….now it’s
collapse of the empires ! Will be busy over
    next decade or so….marbles intact.

Good day to those down under …
    Good morning Spain
    American still sleeping

UK PM (unelected) is going for the long haul to 2020 to keep her job. No election until then to select or deselect her….
My concerns is she may be “pushed” by
some of her own party …et tu Brutae
    as per her mentor Thatcher.
That would be “fair” if she fails on exit negotiations. Three MUSKATEERS (pro exiteers) appointed..to negotiate exit.
She is doing well ! so far so good !
Let’s hope she survives as her intentions are good….unless she is misunderstood?
The powerful mainstream media hold the
    power ! Always has !

    Lord k
    ……………….

Let’s hope younger voters are on the “UP”
Think younger voters are more politically aware in UK but USA doubt it ?
However in a referendum most younger voters would have voted “IN” on economic grounds “OUT” on the political !
It should be made easier to vote by intro
of Internet voting to attract the younger voter.
Social media is changing our world…
My only concern is the “speed” it does.
    Scepticism ! Yes
    Pessimism ! No
    Optimism ! Yes

We must all remain positive towards change
    Hopefully for better !

“However think Scots will not join euro neither will north Ireland…. both continue using £ as legal tender…”

I don’t know how de Castro arrived at the foregoing opinion about the Scots or the Irish; but there is talk of the Irish going with the Republic if BREXIT is ratified.

Scotland has already declared their intention to jump ship – that will be confirmed in the next referendum.

They are both required to use the sterling pound while they are part of the UK.

BBC reported that the Acting Prime Minister of Spain said: “Spain opposes any negotiation by anyone other than the government of United Kingdom.

“I am extremely against it, the treaties are extremely against it and I believe everyone is extremely against it. If the United Kingdom leaves … Scotland leaves.”

Spain was a vocal opponent of Scottish independence ahead of the 2014 referendum, largely because of the situation in Catalonia where there is a strong independence movement.

Meanwhile, Mr Hollande said: “The negotiations will be conducted with the United Kingdom, not with a part of the United Kingdom”.

Given, the BBC reporting – de Castro’s opinion does NOT make any sense to me.
