We invited residents of Fort McMurray to a Christmas party where they could take their minds off the stress of the past seven months and (hopefully) create new family memories. Just because it’s been months since wildfires devastated Fort McMurray doesn’t mean the recovery is over yet.
And with the holiday season upon us, it’s a time when those still feeling the effects may need an extra boost to experience that winter cheer.
Enter: WestJet.
The airline stepped up in order to throw a party for residents and give them a well-deserved celebration, complete with gifts, candy, and joy all around.
