E. R. Braithwaithe is forever etched in the literary shrine of Guyana and perhaps the world, not only because of his book, “To Sir with Love,” but also because the movie and the song associated with it. Guyana, as a small country, has been blessed with many notable writers, but E. R. Braithwaithe is the most famous. His one book resonated with the world as a classic movie and a hit song.
My mentor and friend of over fifty years, Dr. ER Braithwaite, CCH, helped and shaped me into the person who I am.
