The murder count in Trinidad, as reported by the website TTCrime.com recorded 494 murders for 2017; 463 in 2016; and 410 in 2015, which clearly indicate stark increases over the three previous years.

With the murder on Monday of a 14-year-old high student, Joshua Andrews, the murder count in Trinidad and Tobago for 2018 already stands at 21.       Continue reading

French female campaigners are defending men’s rights to ‘hit on’ women, while May’s ‘massacre’ of the pale, male and stale leaves them remarkably well intact.

Progressives need to update their settings: there’s a new beleaguered minority in town, one that needs our support. This group has been “punished summarily, forced out of their jobs”, according to campaigners in France, while in Britain it’s even more serious. Here, according to a leading national newspaper, this same oppressed group has just been subjected to a “massacre”.

The Grenada Bankers’ Association recently elected a new president, Keith Johnson, Managing Director of Republic Bank (Grenada) Ltd.

Johnson, a Guyanese, began his banking career over 40 years ago in Guyana.

He has completed his eight year as Managing Director of Republic Bank (Grenada) Ltd.
