TORONTO: Factories are desperate for skilled workers

The shortage of skilled workers in Canada’s industrial sector is reaching a new intensity, with many factory owners saying the lack of talent is hindering the growth of their companies.

“It’s getting worse every year,” says Doug Kamphuys at Ellesmere Fabricators Ltd., a custom steel fabricator that makes massive smokestacks and other metalwork for hospitals and waste-water treatment plants.

    I meet a lot of unemployed college graduates and together with incoming refugees there should be a lot of people looking for work. Employers should be prepared to train employees and not expect ready made people..

      The article is another propaganda piece started from the Government of Canada to falsely lure foreigners to immigrate to Canada.

      Toronto is one for the WORST places to find employment because of the sole reason that job openings do not surpass immigration into the city.

      Greedy employers love it when millions of unemployed students and immigrants are applying for Blue collar, part time, temporary and min. wage labour.

      You have university graduates earning Bachelor degrees in very in-demand fields in the USA struggling to find even temporary general labour work in Toronto. This is no exaggeration.

      You will also have to compete for rental units which are very costlier in the Toronto area. About C$1,150 A MONTH for a 1-bedroom unit, or even higher because of the real estate bubble.

      Welfare is no guarantee of a comfortable life because Ontario Works only pays a single recipient C$721 a month, but food for a month is about $300-$400 depending on the season because Canada food prices are extremely higher than America’s food prices.

      Many employers prefer to hire students from 16 to 17 because their wages are lower than hiring 18+. The same employers who complain about min. wage increases and training employees drive fancy luxury cars to and from their mansions and penthouses in upscale and affluent areas like Bridle Path, Rosedale, Annex and Leaside.

      A few years ago, it was either the infamous Bill Morneau or Stephen Poloz who suggested that young ones in university or searching for employment should work for free to gain work experience. However, the landlord doesn’t want free, the grocery store doesn’t want fre, nor does the tax collector wants free!

      I would also mention that these types of companies are what Guyanese immigrants to Canada would usually find for employment for years, or even decades on end, until they can gain work experience, education and stability to find employment in higher-paying fields. Unfortunately some of these employees do not make it, and they die because of negligence of the companies, who use sneaky legalese to abscond from liability.

      Imagine a young woman injured or died on the job in Guyana at a company’s plant like DDL? That would cause outrage and DDL would be forced to pay compensation. Not in Canada though. Not in Canada. read why:

      Certain canadian employers don’t even care if you die on the job, even if you’re a woman, in that country which is very loyal to only one type of woman, the white woman. Other races of women are considered non-entities in Canada:

    Canada like to promote a false image causing thousands of broken dreams and broken lives for those who end up in poverty in Canada. If Toronto is hiring in a frenzy, maybe this Jamaican/Caribbean woman should be already hired rather than end up on welfare for over a decade after the 2008 Great Financial Crisis?:

    Canada also has a ‘Liberal’ government which misuses Marxist theory to promote white decadence like transgenders, explicit se*ual education, Gay Prides and legalizing public nudity in front of minors, but when it comes to anti-poverty initiatives, they act no different from Regan era Conservatives.

Future is bleak for young people, companies running tie hell, out, part of the Globalist Plan to change North America to total Service Industry, by giving good jobs to outsiders better educated and cheaper, so that they can have a piece (largre) of your pie.

    Canadian-born Caucasian-Canadian females born from 1985 to 2014 will have the most prosperous life in Canada. This demographic is most likely to earn over $50,000 a year as a starting salary in their career upon 1 year after graduation. Francophone females in Quebec also fare better than Canadian-born racialized groups in Ontario.

    However, those who are planning to migrate to Canada, and those who were born and raised in low-income parts of Toronto will rarely attain a higher social level. Once you are born in a sh*thole like Jane-Finch, Rexdale or Thorncliffe Park, you are most likely to remain there for the rest of your life, if you’re not dying early from gang warfare or police brutality.

    Back in the 1980s, you didn’t even need to have a Grade 12 diploma, and you could have easily walked into a mall or grocery store and be hired for a job the next day or as soon as possible as least. When the recession happened after the wealthy Asians bailed out on the real estate bubble in 1989, jobs weren’t even that difficult to find compared to now.

    You have 4-year university graduates from York University, University of Toronto, Ryerson University, and even mcGill University struggling to find even temporary labour in Ontario.

    However, the older Canadian-born cohorts who only graduated with a Grade 12 diploma in the 70s and 80s are on their way to retiring on six figure pensions, while double dipping by working at the same employer on reduced hours, which clogs up the flow of the labour market.

    Toronto is an Oligarchy city where the wealthy live in affluence alongside the low-income communities. If you wonder why the wealthy are rarely, if ever, targeted by supposed Marxist revolutionaries against the Bourgeois, it’s because the wealthy in Canada fund this phony version of Marxism that is targeted against small business owners and those deemed privileged such as straight white men or all men who aren’t gays or transgenders.

    The City of Toronto also funds at least $1.5 Billion dollars for its local police department. This is for a city of only 2.5 Million-2.7 million. This is $555 per capita for policing alone. The police abuse their powers to harass and censor racial minorities in order to quell any dissent against the wealthy elite in Toronto.
